Wagoner County FOP Lodge #228 requesting community to rally around Investigator and his wife during Cancer battle
The Wagoner County Fraternal Order of Police lodge #228 is asking the Wagoner County community to come together in support of Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Jake Carey and his wife, Robyn, as their family faces an incredibly difficult time.
Jake Carey serves as the Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Investigator for the Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office, dedicating his work to helping victims and serving members of the community during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Now, Jake and his family are navigating a difficult battle of their own. Robyn is currently battling stage four breast cancer and bone cancer, a challenge that has placed significant emotional and personal demands on the Carey family.
Community members are encouraged to show their support by participating in a fundraiser organized to help the family as they navigate Robyn’s cancer journey. The fundraiser includes a Yeti cooler raffle, with tickets available for $5 each. Tickets are available through the Wagoner County Sheriff’s Department and the Wagoner Police Department. The drawing is scheduled for December 1,2026 and the winner does not need to be present to win. The Yeti cooler will be stuffed will a lot of prizes so don’t miss out.
Those wishing to provide additional financial support can also make digital donations through Cash App at $jacobecarey. A QR code for donations is included on the fundraiser flyer.
The Wagoner County community has a long history of standing together in times of need. Residents are encouraged to share the fundraiser, purchase raffle tickets if you can, donate if they are able, and keep Jake, Robyn, and their family in their thoughts and prayers. Every act of kindness, no matter the size, is an opportunity to make a difference for the Carey family during this challenging time.
