👑 The King of Junk-Outs — Before It Was Cool 🏗️🧹

I’m Nate Varner, Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, and these photos are from one of the first major properties we ever purchased — a massive 7,000 sq. ft. warehouse sitting on 1.25 acres.

Back then, things looked a little different…

🚫 No dump trailers
🚫 No bobcat
🚫 No fancy equipment

Just hard work and vision.

We hand-loaded dumpsters — one after another — removing decades of accumulated contents. This project took at least 30 dumpsters, each 20–30 cubic yards. It was a huge undertaking, but it became one of the most valuable learning experiences of our real estate career.

At the time, industrial buildings weren’t attracting much attention. Many investors overlooked them entirely.

📈 Fast forward to today:
Industrial real estate is now one of the hottest sectors in the market, with exceptionally low vacancy rates — and this project proved we were ahead of the curve.
