Knowledge is power… always good to stay up to speed on current market data.

Median prices for single-family homes remained unchanged from last October at $1,100,000, while condo median prices experienced a modest 1.9% increase, reaching $525,000.

Single-family homes and condos recorded a median days on market of under one month, at 16 and 26 days, respectively.

Both markets saw an increase in new listings in October, with 298 for single-family homes, a 9.6% year-over-year uptick, and 597 for condos, up 5.5%.

Active inventory remained elevated year-over-year, with single-family homes up 18.4% to 741 listings and condos up 49.8% to 1,957 listings; month-over-month, single-family homes dipped 1.9%, while condos rose 3.7%.

Happy November everyone! Next weekend, Saturday the 9th, from 9-11 a.m. we will be hosting our fundraiser to benefit HUGS Hawaii as part of at Ka Makana Ali’i

HUGS stands for Help, Understanding, and Group Support. Founded in 1982, their organization works to provide assistance and support to families with children facing serious and often times terminal illnesses and diseases. HUGS is very near and dear to our heart, as many of you know the origin of and why we were founded. As such we hold this fundraiser annually in November in order to continue giving back to HUGS as a thank you for all of the care and support they showed Kady and her family 5 years ago and to ensure that continues for many more families during those extremely difficult times.

We’ll have some additional posts/teasers this coming week so stay tuned. Please RSVP online if you plan to attend so that we have an accurate headcount. Mahalo. We want to thank our event sponsors and as well as our foundation partners for all of their continued support. We can’t do it without them. And of course we must thank and all of their staff for allowing us the time and space to hold all of our events. We are so !

Market update stats from August 2024.

Single-family home sales and prices remain relatively unchanged from the same period in 2023. Median sales price was up 1.1%. Sales volume up just 0.4%.

Condo sales prices were down 2.9% year-over-year and sales volume was down 5%.

Single-family home inventory is up 27% with 760 active listings, and up 64% in the condo market with 1,879 active listings. Despite having more inventory on the market, sale prices remain relatively unchanged.

Days on market for single-family homes that sold in August averaged 14 days, while condos averaged 28 days on market.

30% of single-family home sales closed above the original asking price, and 15% of condos closed above asking price.

Full sized smoked wings… not those we**ie sized ones you get at BWW… Cubano sandwich and Black and Blue Burger with Waffle Fries… delicious. In Wahiawa off California St. Go check em out!
