International Virtual Assistants Day is personal for me.

I started as a virtual assistant. No fancy title. Just a woman who heard God's direction, said yes, and trusted that He would handle the rest.

That season shaped everything. I learned how to manage competing priorities without losing my footing. How to support executives at the highest level without losing my own voice. How to build systems that actually worked, for my clients and for my business. I was learning operational thinking before I even had the language for it.

Over time, that work evolved into something I could not have mapped out on a whiteboard: operations management, project management, executive-level administrative partnership. Today, DHAS delivers the kind of strategic, high-level support that organizations need to function well and grow with intention.
I would not be here without that first chapter.

Being a virtual assistant was not a phase to outgrow. It was the foundation everything else was built on, and if that is where you are right now, I need you to understand that the work you are doing matters more than your title suggests. The discipline you are building, the relationships you are managing, the systems you are quietly putting in place, that is all going somewhere. Do not minimize it.

Whether you are freelancing solo, embedded in a corporate team, or somewhere in between, today is for you. Your work is not invisible. It is the work that keeps everything running.

Happy International Virtual Assistants Day. You deserve to be celebrated.

Happy Mother's Day to the women who made me who I am.

To my mother, my late grandmother, and my Aunt Teresa — thank you. Not just for what you did, but for who you are and everything you poured into me along the way.

I am grateful for the love you've shown me. I am grateful for the lessons you've taught me — the ones spoken out loud and the ones I had to watch and learn. I am who I am because of you.

The days aren't the same since Grandma left. But on the hard days, I sit back and roll through the memories — and somehow, that is enough to carry me through.

To the women in my life: thank you for showing me what strength looks like. Thank you for showing me what it means to love God and serve Him without apology. Thank you for being unapologetically, fully, beautifully yourselves.

I love you deeply. I am forever grateful for you.
Happy Mother's Day.

Today we pause to honor the women who lead with courage, build with intention, and show up fully — in boardrooms, classrooms, sanctuaries, and everywhere in between.

To every woman who has pushed through, figured it out, and made a way — today is for you.

Happy International Women's Day!

There's something powerful about a woman who knows who she is.

She leads differently. She loves deeply. She builds with purpose.

This Women's History Month, I'm celebrating every woman who has ever doubted herself and kept going anyway. Every woman who chose courage over comfort. Every woman whose name may never be in a history book — but whose impact changed everything for someone.

That woman deserves her flowers. 🌸

Happy Women's History Month. You are more than enough. 🧡

Today marks the beginning of Black History Month, and I've been reflecting on what this means - not just historically, but right now, in this moment.

Here's what I know to be true: We carry the strength of ancestors who built empires, survived the unimaginable, and created beauty in the midst of struggle. That same resilience flows through us today.

Yes, the world can be heavy. Yes, there are days when being Black in America feels exhausting. Yes, we still fight battles our ancestors hoped we'd never have to face.
But here's what else is true: God made no mistakes when He created us. Our melanin is intentional. Our culture is rich. Our contributions to this world are undeniable. And our future? It's being written by us, right now.

So this month, I'm celebrating us - not just the history we've made, but the history we're making. The businesses we're building. The families we're raising. The communities we're strengthening. The excellence we bring to everything we touch.
We are our ancestors' wildest dreams, walking around in skin that reflects the sun beautifully.

To my Black community: You are seen. You are valued. You are enough - exactly as you are. Keep building. Keep dreaming. Keep showing up in your full brilliance.

Because when God created us, He knew exactly what He was doing.

Happy Black History Month. Let's celebrate us.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 🎀

To every person who has battled breast cancer - your strength is remarkable. You've faced one of life's hardest fights, and your courage inspires us all.

To those currently in the battle - you are not alone. On the days when treatment feels overwhelming, when you're exhausted beyond words, when hope feels distant - please know that so many people are standing with you, praying for you, believing in your healing.

To those who fought with everything they had - we honor your memory. We celebrate the lives you touched, the love you shared, and the impact you made. Your battle mattered. You mattered.

To the caregivers, the family members, the friends who stand beside those fighting - your love and support make a difference that words cannot measure. Thank you for being there.

This month, we wear pink not just as a symbol, but as a reminder: Early detection saves lives. Check-ups matter. Self-exams matter. Your health matters.

If you're due for a mammogram, please schedule it. If you've noticed something concerning, please get it checked. Taking care of yourself isn't selfish - it's necessary.

To everyone touched by breast cancer in any way - you are seen. You are valued. You are loved. 💗

Last week was World Mental Health Day, and I need to take a moment to honor that - not as a business owner, but as someone who's walked through the valley.

I've struggled with depression. I've battled suicidal thoughts. And I'm still here - not because every day is easy, but because I work hard to make it through every single day. Some days that work looks like getting out of bed. Other days it looks like asking for help. And that's okay.

If you're reading this and you're struggling right now - I see you. Your battle is real. Your pain is valid. And you are not alone.

To those who are getting help - I'm so proud of you. Taking that step requires incredible courage.

To those who are still in the thick of it, trying to decide if today is the day you reach out - please do. Call someone. Text the crisis line. Tell your doctor. You matter more than you know.

And to those we've lost to the battle in their minds - we remember you. We honor your struggle. And we commit to breaking the stigma so fewer families have to experience that heartbreak.

Mental health matters. Your mental health matters. My mental health matters.

Let's take care of ourselves and do our best to help those around us. Because sometimes the bravest thing we can do is simply keep going - and help someone else keep going too.

You're not alone. 💚

For years, I called myself an Executive Assistant, and honestly? I was excellent at it. I loved supporting leaders and helping businesses run smoothly through exceptional administrative work.

But as I grew in my skills and experience, I started noticing something: I wasn't just completing tasks anymore. I was naturally looking at entire business operations, identifying bottlenecks before they became problems, and creating systems that would prevent the same issues from happening again.

That's when I realized I had evolved into something more strategic - I had become an Operations Manager.

Both roles are incredibly valuable, but they serve different needs. Executive Assistants provide essential support that keeps businesses running day-to-day. Operations Managers design the infrastructure that allows businesses to scale sustainably.

I've walked into a season where my experience and passion have led me to focus on the strategic side - building operations that don't just support your current needs but anticipate your future growth.
Ready to explore what strategic operations management can do for your business? Let's talk about building systems that grow with your vision. 💼
