💡 Amazon is expanding seller tools around AI inventory management, global operations, and cross-border replenishment.
🤖 1. Seller Assistant Adds AI Inventory Management
Seller Assistant’s new Inbound Planning and Aged Inventory features can flag stockout risks, slowing sales, and long-stored inventory, then recommend replenishment or clearance. Sellers can set approval rules so the tool monitors inventory, pricing, and account health and carries out approved tasks.
🌎 2. Amazon Consolidates Global Seller Tools
Amazon’s global system helps sellers compare demand, returns, costs, and market-entry requirements across the United States, Europe, and Japan. It also plans to centralize cross-border listings, inventory, orders, shipment tracking, and compliance. Compliance support currently covers toys and is expected to expand to electronics and baby products by the end of 2026.
🏭 3. GWD Expands Replenishment Coverage
📍 As of September 2026, GWD operates facilities in Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Ningbo, supporting U.S. FBA replenishment. By year-end, Amazon plans to add the UK, Japan, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and Canada, bringing coverage to eight countries.
💰 Shipments to these facilities receive 30 days of free storage through December 31, 2026. Amazon says GWD storage can cost up to 45% less than U.S. AWD and shorten FBA replenishment by up to five days.
