Consider giving your condenser unit some shade during these hot days of summer.

Why You Should (and Shouldn't) Shade the Unit

The Benefit: Shading the unit from direct sunlight can lower the ambient temperature around the coils, allowing the compressor to work more efficiently and potentially extending the lifespan of the equipment.

The Risk: Outdoor units are engineered to pull in air from the sides and exhaust massive amounts of heat out of the top. If you place a solid cover, umbrella, or awning too close to the top, you will force that 200°F exhaust heat to bounce back down and recirculate through your system. This makes the AC work harder, spikes your energy bill, and can burn out the compressor or fan motor. Make sure the awning has mesh sides or open sides. Be sure not to block the airflow of the unit.

Stabilize a wobbly showerhead

If the pipe coming out of your shower wall ends up getting a little loose, an easy fix is to pull back the fl**ge and apply some expanding foam into the gap around the shower arm. As the stuff dries, it will fill the cavity and keep the pipe in place, eliminating any wobble.
