Dream accomplished. 🏡🔑

This home was something they had wanted for years, and today it finally became a reality.

The process had a few bumps along the way, but they stayed patient, kept pushing forward, and made it happen.

Yesterday, I said goodbye to my 20s and celebrated my 30th birthday in Ocean City alongside my loved ones.

I learned some good lessons in my 20s.

When I started my 20s, I was much more selfish, much more ego-oriented, and focused only on myself.

I thought that was the way to get ahead in life…

I later learned that life isn’t just about me.

It’s about service.

Service to others. But also service to a higher purpose, a higher calling, and even—as I’ve recently discovered—service to a higher being.

Life is about so much more than our own wants, desires, and problems.

I’ve found that when we focus on helping others achieve their goals and fulfill their desires, we become happier, more fulfilled, and we usually achieve more for ourselves in the process.

I’m excited for more lessons, more giving, more adventure, and more growth in the decade ahead!! 🎂3️⃣0️⃣

Today, when I opened Facebook, a memory popped up from seven years ago of me hosting a yard sale.

At the time, I had just quit my full-time job to focus on my real estate career, and I didn’t have enough money to pay my $600 rent that month.

So, I took a page out of my grandparents’ playbook and decided to hold a yard sale. I sold some of my own belongings, but mostly I was selling furniture that my roommate had left behind when he moved out.

Earlier, I had seen a woman holding a yard sale on a large lot, and I thought it was a prime location. I pulled over and asked if she would rent me half of her yard so I could sell my things too. She agreed.

It was quite an adventure.

And by the grace of God, I made enough money that day to pay my rent.

Let this be a reminder that God always provides a way for us to pursue our dreams. Stay positive, have faith, and pay attention to the opportunities that most people overlook.
