I’m proud to share that House Bill 311 was signed into law today.

Championed by Representative Kim Williams and Senator Spiros Mantzavinos, this new law establishes the Rights and Responsibilities Guide for Landlords and Tenants Committee, which will develop a clear, accessible resource to help Delaware landlords and tenants better understand their rights and obligations under state law.

This is a commonsense step toward improving transparency, reducing misunderstandings, and helping both landlords and tenants navigate Delaware’s rental housing system with greater confidence.

I’m pleased to report that SB 201 (sponsored by Sen. Spiros Mantzavinos), a bill to regulate the practice of real estate wholesaling in Delaware, just passed the House.

Exciting news today in Delaware real estate.

A bill (HB 416) to decrease the state’s realty transfer tax by 1/4 of a percent has been introduced by Kim Williams State Representative, 19th District.

This would be welcome news to home buyers and sellers in the state.
