There's a rule that goes "Everything changes and everything ends."

The only true constant is change.

It's not always easy to hear or to face this,

but it is the reality of life.

Change can be scary.

Change can result in negative consequences.

It can be difficult.

Change also can create potential.

It allows spaces of opportunity that wasn't there before.

This is the dichotomy of change.

The good news is this:

how you chose to experience change is in your control.

Ultimately, you control the story and the narrative in your brain.

So, as we face uncertainty,

we can decide the meaning of this situation and how we are going to react.

As Victor Frankl has famously said,

"Between stimulus and response there is a space.

In that space is our power to choose our response.

In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”

Change is in the wind.

What will you do?

What could you have in common with Richard Branson?

How about a zest for life?

Earlier this year I had the absolute honor and joy of being invited to a mastermind on Necker Island.

This video shows how Richard said goodbye to us at the end of our stay there.

Playfulness is available to all of us.

What if you decided to lead your business, your family and your life with more playfulness?

What would that look like?

And, more importantly, what would that feel like? Richard Branson Necker Island smith

There are six human needs: certainty, significance, variety/uncertainty, love/connection, growth and contribution.

We all meet all of them through our day to day actions. But, the top TWO needs that you value drive most of your interactions.

What are those?

For most of us, it's significance and certainty.
But it doesn't have to be that way.

What if you were intentional about what needs you wanted to drive your actions?

Being intentional about what human needs drive your life changes everything.

What human needs most drive you right now?
And which ones do you want driving you in the future?

Want to grow your business, find more joy or live longer?

The answer to all three is the same: it all comes down to relationships.

Your friends are the people who support you, uplift you and help you have more fun. They keep you accountable and hold you to a higher standard. And they might even help you live longer.

To great friends, who help you become more of who you're meant to be!

Who are your people? Peter Kim, MD Wealthy Mom MD smith

Do you show up?

I was masterminding with some of my entrepreneur friends last week and was reminded of just an important point: Just show up.

Each time you say yes to things and just show up, magic has the opportunity to happen.

Maybe you get invited to a conference... maybe you're invited on a trip... or maybe you're just invited to a lunch or a work out or a coffee, whatever it is, whenever you step out of what you normally do and show up to something new, you create the opportunity to deepen or form new relationships -- which you'll never regret.

Put another way (as one of our students in our EB Pro mastermind wisely told her accountability group this week), "I never say no to a conversation!"

Where are you showing up now? And where do you want to show up going forward? Peter Kim, MD Wealthy Mom MD

The past doesn't predict the future.

What does that mean?

It means that just because you didn't do something in the past, or couldn't do something in the past, it doesn't mean that you can't do it going forward.

Remember that next time you miss on reaching a goal or on executing the way you wanted.

The past doesn't equal the future. So continue to set big goals. Your future depends on it.

What happens if you try to create the vision, set the sale and be the wind too?

You get exhausted.

Many of us our visionaries. We have a vision of what we want to create. We also can build the strategy. And then we put our heads down and do the work.

In the end, we find ourselves exhausted. That's because we forget we need the help of others too.

Don't try to be the vision, the sail and the wind. Build a team around you to help make your vision a reality by putting your strategy into practice.

How's your energy?

Over the last couple of years I've really come to realize how important our energy is to everything we do. It's a game changer to decide to switch up your energy when you face a challenge or enter a space where you wish to have influence.

So what is energy?

My experience of energy is that it is the way you choose to modulate your mind and body to influence yourself and everyone around you. It is completely under your control.

I think you'll agree that when you decide to be in a high energy state, this leads to thinking certain thoughts, which ultimately change how you show up, which then changes the experience the people around you have in that moment.

That's what this is about.

So how about bringing your highest energy state to those around you today? Kenji Asakura

Are you a planner?

One of the most important skills that has helped Kenji and I grow our real estate portfolio, multiple businesses, and lead a life of six months of travel a year is what we call our "scheming." It's really planning, but with a little fun injected into it.

Everything you create in your life starts with a vision in your head. Then you create a plan to make it happen.

So, what are you planning right now? I know I'm up to a few things.... 😉 Kenji Asakura
