A few years ago some client/friends of mine, referred Matt to me, to help him find a place to live. We were able to snag a pretty awesome condo for him. This year he PCSd back to Germany and wanted to sell his place. The day he left it hit the market. We had competitive offers and it pended, cash offer! To close in less than a month! Woohoo! Like all things in real estate, nothing is done until it is DONE! 2 days before RECORDING (signing day for my seller) the buyer terminated. She had some personal situations come up and she was unable to buy. I went back (nearly a month later) and contacted the agent with the #2 offer. This buyer still hadn’t found a place she loved and STILL wanted to buy this condo – but it was better than that. We had gone through repairs and it had a new water heater and garage heater and some drywall repair done and other repairs completed. She was so excited. This time we did close!!! Woohoo!

So happy for my seller. He took that setback like a man, trusted me to get it done and was so easy to work with. Thank you for trusting me through this process from overseas and trusting me to handle it and get it done! It is always a team effort and I appreciate when clients understand I have their best interest at heart. I lost a bit of sleep over this one. I knew some financial goals my client had and because of repairs he was coming in a few short. He took it well, but I lost sleep over trying to figure out a way around it. Sometimes the only way forward it to just do it!

Thank you to Amity Johnson for being a great communicator and keeping this one in the game until the end. Thank you for being involved in actively negotiating a win-win for our clients. It made a HUGE difference.

Back in early 2020 – March 2020…. I started showing this brave couple homes, when things were uncertain and many weren’t even leaving their homes. Remember the time of “drive by” appraisals? Yep – this was the time they bought. Married a couple years and transferred to AK in the military. Since then they started a family and he got out of the military and became a first responder. She is an extraordinary seamstress. Now with children they made the decision to be closer to family, which meant selling their home and leaving Alaska. I am so happy for them, and being a transplant myself, I understand the pull, especially with little ones! So congrats on selling your home and I am excited for your future.

The lovely buyers said this home purchase was their dream come true – Thank you to Rod Burris for being so great to work with. I appreciate the great professionals I work with in this industry and Rod was there to help his clients and make this come together smoothly!

I love receiving referrals from clients – to me it is a true testimony of a job well done and their desire to share that with others. These special clients came to me when they were doing a marketplace transaction with a client of mine – who spoke so highly and convincingly that they looked into me and contacted me. Thank you Marlin! I met them the next day and three days later we had their house on the market – competitive offers, sold quickly and they are on their way to the Lower 48.

One thing I love about this business – when I am preparing homes for the market, I am in the home for hours prepping it and staging it – often 2 to 3 days. When the sellers are there I get to sit down and really visit with them. I love the relationships I develop and the conversations shared, truly deep and meaningful visits. It is touching and encouraging. Someone asked me if I did this for money or because of people. I was taken back by that question – obviously I have a family to feed… but I do what I do because of the desire to truly help people – to go the extra mile to make this the easiest process of their move. I want it to be the least stressful and most rewarding. I love helping people out – and the relationships I develop on the way are the biggest bonus of what I do. Thank you for enriching my summer.

These wonderful clients found me through a podcast I did last year – he liked what I shared about how I do business differently. They were going to sell next year but as we know life changes plans all the time – so the next thing I knew we were preparing to get their house on market. They are wonderful sellers, so accommodating and kind. Great conversations and many laughs and a few tears.

Nik with Boom Photography did an excellent job on the photos. I cannot stress enough how big a difference this makes in showcasing my listings. I can do all the prep work I want but without it being captured correctly, it wouldn’t matter. So thankful for his awesome work! An art for sure!

Thank you to Skye at First American for pulling off another miracle. This was 3 contingencies deep! The buyers had to sell their house and my sellers were buying property in AZ and it was contingent on them selling their house – making sure timing and funds get to the right place is no small feat but Skye makes it look easy. Beautiful & well-built home sitting on over 5 acres! Quick access to highway & 20 min to downtown Wasilla. Large private yard away from road. Very quiet location. LARGE bedrooms. Nice large great room w/10 foot walls and a vaulted ceiling. Large kitchen w/ 42 inch uppers & ample counter space. Great natural lighting in home w/many windows throughout. Great lighting in home and outlets abound!

Upstairs bedroom doesn't have a built-in closet but ample space to put one if desired (even an area that is recessed that would hardly lose space in the room) & home has a 3 bedroom septic. Very nice large 10x10 entry. Not your typical split entry floor plan. See Matterport for a better idea of the floor plan. Lovely 4 foot wide stairways and space at the bottom to access rooms to move furniture. Well planned!
