Walking through the brand new Watertown High School today honestly blew me away. While visiting this beautiful school, I chatted with so many people who attended the previous School going back more than 40 or 50 years. We all marveled at how much larger the school is now, and how advanced each classroom is for the future students.

Growing up here, I never imagined something like this in a town that’s only about four miles wide. The scale of it is incredible—four levels, underground parking, and just an overall presence that feels more like a college campus than a high school.

The gym is massive (with a rock climbing wall), the classrooms are stunning, and the home economics kitchen looks like something straight out of a professional chef’s space.

Really impressive to see this kind of investment in the future of the community. Watertown did this right.

Have you been to NZuko Caribbean & Mediterranean Restaurant in Watertown?

As someone who grew up in this small but wonderful community, one of the things I love most about Watertown is the incredible variety of food, cultures, and local businesses we have right here in our neighborhoods.

I recently had the chance to speak with the owner of NZuko just before closing. She was incredibly nice—and what stood out most was how much she genuinely loves Watertown and is happy to be part of our community.

The food looks fantastic, they have a nice bar, and I hear they’re planning a music night with possibly more events to come.
