There’s nothing more satisfying than handing over the keys after helping someone secure a new home—especially when time is tight.

Recently, I had the chance to assist a gentleman who needed to move urgently.

Thankfully, I had an available apartment from a recent sale, and it all came together just in time. In real estate, it’s more than just transactions; it’s about truly helping people.

Moving on a deadline is one of the most stressful experiences, and I’m grateful to have been able to ease his burden and find him a place to call home.

This new chapter has been a lesson in patience and trust—a reminder that growth is a journey, not a sprint. ⁣

I’ve always been “rapidita” (little fast one, as my mom calls me), wanting everything done fast, results now. ⁣
⁣
So, as I’m learning these new systems, I find myself getting impatient, frustrated that I’m not picking things up as quickly as I’d like.⁣
⁣
But every morning, I watch Grayson play his favorite “Old McDonald” song, it’s one of those cumulative songs that keep adding animals and their sounds⁣
⁣
He listens to it over and over on a daily basis, patiently building up, learning each sound and the sequence. ⁣
⁣
And it amazes me—he’s not rushing; he’s just enjoying the process, memorizing it one step at a time.⁣
⁣
Grayson’s patience is a beautiful reminder for me: true progress doesn’t happen overnight. ⁣
⁣
Like him, I need to trust the process, no matter how long it takes or how much repetition it requires.⁣
⁣
When we lean into the journey, we get to appreciate each step and know that, one day, all the pieces will come together.⁣
⁣

As I hand over these keys, I see new beginnings for both my client and myself. ⁣

Yesterday, I had the privilege of experiencing a closing that was a true roller coaster of emotions, not only for my client but for everyone involved. As with many things in life, it wasn’t easy, but the lessons learned along the way were invaluable. First, I want to give a huge shout-out and thank you to everyone who played a role in making this deal come together.

To , the seller’s agent, thank you for the opportunity to work with you on this. To my amazing cousin , who handled the loans, thank you for ensuring the financing was in place and for all your hard work behind the scenes. A special thanks to the patent law firm for their diligence and to the title company for making it all official. And most importantly, thank you to my client for trusting me and the process Dally Severino

This deal wasn’t without its challenges — real estate is often like a game of telephone with messages getting crossed and personalities to manage. But my biggest takeaway is the power of clear communication. It’s essential to avoid assumptions and keep everything transparent so things can move forward smoothly.
