This new chapter has been a lesson in patience and trust—a reminder that growth is a journey, not a sprint.
I’ve always been “rapidita” (little fast one, as my mom calls me), wanting everything done fast, results now.
So, as I’m learning these new systems, I find myself getting impatient, frustrated that I’m not picking things up as quickly as I’d like.
But every morning, I watch Grayson play his favorite “Old McDonald” song, it’s one of those cumulative songs that keep adding animals and their sounds
He listens to it over and over on a daily basis, patiently building up, learning each sound and the sequence.
And it amazes me—he’s not rushing; he’s just enjoying the process, memorizing it one step at a time.
Grayson’s patience is a beautiful reminder for me: true progress doesn’t happen overnight.
Like him, I need to trust the process, no matter how long it takes or how much repetition it requires.
When we lean into the journey, we get to appreciate each step and know that, one day, all the pieces will come together.
For anyone who needs the reminder—keep going, keep trusting. We’re all learning, and that’s where the real growth happens. 🌱✨
