We’ve got Route 66 running right through town, a spring where you can fish for trout right downtown, and that big ol’ Frog Rock that’s basically our unofficial mascot 🐸💚
Plus, the Trail of Tears site and Old Stagecoach Stop remind you how much history is packed into this little place.

The Waynesville Police Department wants to remind everyone of todays WAYNESVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT HOMECOMING PARADE through downtown. Roads will be closed along Historic 66 from Benton St to Old State Hwy H starting at approximately 215pm and will reopen sometime around 4:30 pm. There will be no bypass route through downtown so motorists are advised to utilize I-44 or Hwy 133 to travel around downtown Waynesville. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding with this.

The parade route is annotated in red and all roads along the route will be closed to traffic.
