TxDOT wants to hear from Weatherford!

On Tuesday, June 23, TxDOT will host an open house to discuss proposed I-20 frontage roads from FM 2552/Santa Fe Drive to East Bankhead Highway.

Community members are invited to learn more about the project and share feedback with the TxDOT regional team. Feedback can be provided in person at the open house or submitted digitally.

The Parker County Commissioners Court will hold a Special Meeting on Data Centers at 9 AM on Tuesday, June 9th, and it is important that residents attend and make their voices heard.

Proposed data center developments have the potential to significantly impact our community, and local officials need to see strong public participation as these discussions move forward. Whether you have concerns, questions, or simply want to stay informed, your presence matters.

Issues that many residents have raised include:
Water resources: Large-scale data centers can require substantial amounts of water and energy, making long-term resource planning an important consideration.
Noise and quality of life: Industrial facilities, backup generators, and related infrastructure may affect nearby neighborhoods and rural areas.
