When we decided to feature Farmhouse Kitchen in our 5th episode of Emmy-nominated TV show, The American Dream, we had no idea what a blast we’d have! Owner + Chef Kasem Saengsawang, lovingly known as Chef Pop, set out to create a Thai restaurant that was true to his roots and his family’s love of traditional Thai food. But he envisioned a space that was as bold as the fresh Thai flavors. A place where people felt at home. A place where people could have fun. And a place that would bring people together because food is often the connection between people. Farmhouse Kitchen is just that!
The West Adams location is a visual feast! And most of the ingredients are grown out back in the garden. From date nights to family gatherings, from drinks with friends to a work lunch, your senses will be satiated!
This is not your typical Thai food, and we love that! We hope you enjoy this episode as we find out more about Chef Pop’s love of food and deep passion for creating delicious twists on his childhood favorites. His goal? To make good food with good heart!
