🇺🇸 BIG VA LOAN UPDATE FOR OUR VETERANS 🇺🇸

Things just got a whole lot easier for our VA buyers 👏

Starting May 1st, the Department of Veterans Affairs is rolling out changes to simplify the appraisal process, making it smoother, faster, and less stressful for those who’ve served.

Here’s what’s changing:

✅ No more peeling paint requirements on homes built after 1978
✅ No extra rules for sheds or outbuildings
✅ Builder radon requirements removed
✅ Fireplace oxygen depletion sensor certifications—gone

Translation: fewer headaches, fewer delays, and a more streamlined path to homeownership.

❄️ Public Service Announcement from Marc Niosi, owner of Compass Heating and Plumbing in West Bridgewater ❄️

With this snowstorm and extreme cold, frozen pipes are one of the biggest and most expensive risks for homeowners and the worst part is, you often don’t even know they’ve burst until the weather warms up and the damage is already done.

I asked Marc Niosi of Compass Plumbing and Heating to share a simple but critical reminder: keep your heat set a little higher than normal during deep freezes so your pipes stay protected. Checking that your heat is working properly in all rooms of your home before r the cold temps come is crucial too!

This is one of those small steps that can save you thousands of dollars and a whole lot of stress. Please share this with friends, family, neighbors…anyone with a home.
