$15,000 for down payment and closing costs, requiring a minimum $1,500 personal contribution. Funding for 2026 opens on May 19, with a special "Keys" round opening April 7, generally on a first-come, first-served basis.
Must be a first-time homebuyer (not owned a home in the past 3 years) with a household income at or below 80% of the area median income.
Requirements: Must complete at least 4 hours of homeownership counseling and secure a conventional mortgage through a participating lender.
Retention: Buyers must retain the home for 5 years to avoid repayment.
Application: Funds are limited and typically exhaust quickly; applicants must work with a participating lender
