Because gratitude is not a post. Itโs a practice. ๐
This Thanksgiving, Iโm choosing to be grateful for the things we rarely pause to acknowledge, the things so fundamental that we forget theyโre privileges.
Iโm grateful for my health, not just physically but mentally. The ability to wake up clear-minded, to lead, to create, to show up for my family and my team, these are gifts. Iโm grateful to live in a country where I can speak my mind openly, cast a vote without fear, and build a business from nothing based purely on vision and determination.
Iโm grateful for the opportunity to provide for my family and to lead not one, but two companies, a reality that generations of women before me could only dream of. Iโm grateful for every place Iโve been able to visit, every culture Iโve learned from, and every person who has shifted my perspective along the way.
But gratitude, at least to me, isnโt a once-a-year statement. Itโs action. Itโs how we give back.
Gratitude is creating a workplace where people feel safe, valued, and embraced, where hostility has no seat at the table. Itโs supporting causes that matter, participating in efforts that move society forward, and choosing compassion even when itโs not convenient.
Itโs understanding that even if my contribution is the size of a grain of rice, grain by grain, we can fill a sack. And a sack, filled over time, can feed communities.
So this season, Iโm not just thankful, Iโm committed. Committed to doing my part, however small, to build something better for the people around me and the industry I serve.
