The Marketing and Communication Committee hosted a presentation on downsizing for folks on our wait list. We had a nice turnout, 14 people from the wait list and 1 guest. We also had 3 Members attend. The information from WellRive was very helpful.

Officer Joe Gobley, a West St Paul Police outreach officer for multi-housing communities, alerted us to a myriad of potential scams out there. The fraudsters are incredibly creative and innovative. Best policy, do NOT respond or click on links before verifying the source. If it sounds too good to be true, it's likely fraud. Government agencies and law enforcement agencies will never call or email you with urgent demands for gift cards. Be careful out there. Let the call go to voicemail or hang up if you inadvertently answer. The event was co-sponsored by the Safety and Security and Activities Committees.
