Yesterday was a day I never expected.

The boys and I were involved in a car accident, and while my car took the hit, I’m incredibly thankful that all four of us walked away okay. Today I’m very sore, but grateful beyond words that the boys seem to be doing well.

One of the things I can’t stop thinking about is how quickly people showed up for us.

A Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputy was just a couple cars behind us when the accident happened and immediately blocked traffic to help protect us from being hit again. A kind man from a nearby church brought us an umbrella while we stood in the rain and offered to take the boys inside while we waited. Friends and family started reaching out almost immediately. Our church family showed up with meals. The staff at Baptist East ER took such good care of all of us.

Yesterday was hard, but I walked away so aware of God’s provision through the people around us. So many people showed up for our family in big and small ways.

We’re resting and taking it one day at a time today.

We had plans for American Village - Montevallo, AL this morning, but Alabama weather had other ideas.
While waiting for the rain to pass, we listened to The Poppy Lady and talked about the history behind Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Then came a McDonald's play place stop to keep everyone occupied until the gates opened.
Homeschooling has taught me that sometimes the unexpected moments end up being the memorable ones.
I'll share photos and videos from the wreath ceremony later today.

After a great deal of thought and prayer over the past several months, I’m excited to share that I’ve joined Riverview Real Estate.

Making a brokerage change is not something I took lightly. Capital Realty Group River Region was a wonderful place to begin my real estate career, and I’m genuinely grateful for the support and guidance I received there. Jeff Wasserman was always accessible and willing to help, and Kelly consistently made sure every detail was handled well behind the scenes. I’ll always appreciate the role they played in helping me build a strong foundation in this business.

This move wasn’t about leaving something behind. It was about stepping into something that feels like the right fit for the next season of growth, both professionally and personally.

One of the things that drew me to Riverview Real Estate was the opportunity to continue building my business in a way that feels intentional and locally focused, particularly in the Montgomery East and Wetumpka areas that I know and love so well. I’m also excited to learn from Tucker Robinson’s experience and to contribute in ways that extend beyond just buying and selling homes. Before real estate, I spent years in office management, bookkeeping, accounting, and property management, and I’m grateful to be in an environment where those strengths can be used.

What will not change is the way I serve my clients.

I’ll continue approaching real estate the same way I always have: with thoughtful guidance, honest communication, local insight, and a genuine desire to help people make informed, confident decisions.

To my past clients, friends, and family, thank you for your trust, encouragement, referrals, and support over the years. I’m incredibly thankful for each of you, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.
