Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms out there—from our family to yours!

Today we celebrate the snack finders, the schedule keepers, the boo-boo kissers, and the miracle workers who somehow do it all (often with a cold coffee in hand). You’re the real MVPs, and we see you!

Whether you’re being pampered, left alone for five blessed minutes, or just enjoying the little things—you’ve earned it all and then some.

Wishing you laughter, love, and a day that doesn’t include laundry.
— With love and appreciation, Coal Creek Lawn and Landscaping

Driveway needing gravel?

Adding gravel to your driveway can provide several benefits, including:

Improved drainage: Gravel allows rainwater to drain quickly through the surface, reducing the risk of standing water and minimizing the potential for erosion and damage to your driveway.
Better traction: Gravel provides a rough surface that can improve traction for vehicles, making it easier to drive and park on the driveway, especially in wet or snowy conditions.
Cost-effective: Gravel is a relatively inexpensive material, making it a cost-effective solution for improving the appearance and function of your driveway.
Low maintenance: Gravel driveways require minimal maintenance. Gravel is durable and can withstand heavy use, and any minor damage can be easily repaired by adding more gravel to the affected area.
Versatile: Gravel comes in various sizes and colors, so you can choose a type of gravel that matches your landscape and complements your home's exterior.
Eco-friendly: Gravel is a natural material, making it an eco-friendly option for your driveway. It can be recycled or reused if necessary, making it a sustainable choice for your home.
Overall, adding gravel to your driveway can be a cost-effective and practical solution that provides a range of benefits.

Two different broods are emerging this year for the first time since 1804, the 13 year brood and the 17 year brood!

So much to learn about them so please check them out!

Folks, we did it! Not a single square inch of the state of Iowa is considered to be in drought, the first time we can say such a thing since June 30, 2020. A chunk of the state is still considered "abnormally dry" when viewed from a long-term perspective. -Corey
