We dream about opportunities like this, and a while back we finally got one.

With how busy we've been, we're just now getting around to showing off one of our favorite projects.

This was Backyard Escapes' first true outdoor living project. Over 1,000 square feet of pavers, three custom stone columns, a center bar, and a service bar all built by our team.

A few years ago, projects like this were just goals written down on paper. Today, they're becoming reality because of customers who trust us and a crew that takes pride in their craft.

These homeowners were an absolute pleasure to work for from start to finish. We are truly grateful they chose Backyard Escapes to bring their vision to life.

Projects like this are more than pavers and stone. They're spaces where families gather, friends make memories, and everyday life feels a little more like a vacation.

Sometimes it’s the little details that take a project from “nice” to “wow.” 😎

The customer had extra pavers left over, so instead of letting them sit on a pallet… we decided to add a soldier course around the outdoor bar to give it that clean finished look and make the whole patio pop even more. 🤷🏾‍♂️😜

That’s the difference when you care about the final product. We’re always looking for ways to elevate a project and give our customers something that feels custom and intentional.

Anybody can lay pavers. The details are what separate the work. 🔥

We’ve been so busy lately we haven’t had a chance to announce it, but this is a big step for us. With this growth, we’re now offering residential excavation services.

This West Virginia weather has been all over the place lately 🌧️☀️❄️ but don’t worry we haven’t forgotten about you

We haven’t planted anything just yet because we’re waiting for the right conditions to make sure everything thrives the way it should

Be patient with us as the weather slowly cooperates. we’ll start getting plants in the ground

Grinding on a Sunday over here at Backyard Escapes 💪🏾

Paver saw’s running and we’re pushing to get these projects wrapped up and looking right. We know everyone’s excited for their outdoor spaces, and we’re doing everything we can to get to each and every one of you as fast as possible without cutting corners on quality.

BEFORE ➡️ AFTER

This one was due for an upgrade.

We removed an aging CMU block wall that was failing and replaced it with a clean, structurally sound Versa-Lok slate wall that will hold strong for years to come.

Not only did we improve the integrity of the space, but we completely changed the look and feel of the property. The new wall ties everything together and gives the yard a finished, high-end appearance.

Backyard Escapes is looking to add a Landscape Construction Laborer to the team.

If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and learning how to build cool outdoor spaces, this could be a great opportunity for you. No experience is required — just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Starting pay is $16.00/hr, with room to grow based on performance and experience.

Part-time position: 3–4 days per week.

You’ll be helping with:
• Digging, trenching, and site prep
• Moving materials like stone, dirt, and mulch
• assisting Installing pavers, patios, and retaining walls
• Setting base and compacting
• Assisting with drainage and grading
• Operating basic tools and equipment
• Keeping job sites clean and organized

What we’re looking for:
• Reliable and shows up on time
• Clean and drug-free
• Valid driver’s license
• Positive attitude
• Willingness to learn
• Motivated and ready to work
• Not afraid of hard work

We build patios, walls, water features, and outdoor living spaces — this is a chance to learn a real trade and grow with a company that’s building something bigger.
