🤖🏡 AI in Real Estate Marketing: Helpful Tool or Misleading Trend?
Artificial Intelligence is changing the way homes are marketed. From virtual staging to photo enhancements and property descriptions, AI can make a listing stand out online.
But here's my question:
If a buyer falls in love with a home online because it has been virtually staged or enhanced using AI, then visits the property and discovers it looks completely different, has the marketing gone too far?
AI isn't necessarily a bad thing. In fact, it can help buyers visualize a vacant room, showcase a home's potential, and create more engaging marketing materials. However, it can also create unrealistic expectations if not used responsibly.
✅ Pros of AI in Real Estate:
• Helps buyers visualize empty spaces
• Creates professional-looking marketing materials
• Highlights a property's potential
• Saves time and marketing costs
• Increases online engagement
❌ Cons of AI in Real Estate:
• Can create unrealistic expectations
• May hide flaws or needed repairs
• Buyers may feel misled upon viewing
• Can make rooms appear larger or more updated than they actually are
• Risks damaging trust if not clearly disclosed
As Realtors, our goal is to market homes effectively while remaining honest and transparent.
