At AVE Hamilton Green – 25 Cottage, we believe in giving back year-round – and we’re bringing the holiday spirit to July! As we kick off our donation drive in support of Blythedale Children's Hospital, we want to introduce you to a special friend of ours.

Meet Artie, a smart and social friend of AVE Hamilton Green. Artie has a rare genetic disorder called RYR-1 that affects his muscles, making it difficult for him to breathe and move on his own. Artie’s parents, Macie and AJ, moved to AVE Hamilton Green so they could be close by to Blythedale Children’s Hospital, where Artie lives.

With the help of Blythedale and your donations, Artie and other children like him continue to get stronger, healthier, and happier every day.

We encourage residents to join us by donating items listed below:
- Laundry detergent
- Toiletries
- Cleaning supplies
- CVS gift cards
- Canned tuna & mayo, Peanut butter & jelly, Cereal & shelf-stable milk, Rice & beans, Pasta & sauce
- Microwaveable bowls
