What a weekend! 🏳️‍🌈

Pride is always a reminder of how powerful it is when we show up for each other. From connecting with people at our Our Voice Milwaukee booth, to performing together, to marching in the parade, every moment this weekend was a celebration of love, community and being exactly who you are.

We even got to have Dancing Queen - ABBA Salute join us on stage for our final song, Lay All Your Love On Me. 😍 A moment I will not forget.

It was so special getting to share our voice and welcome new faces into this community we are building. However you celebrated this weekend, I hope you felt the love. And remember, Pride is not just one weekend. Being there for each other is something we carry all year long.

Today’s the day! 🎶🏳️‍🌈

So excited to take the stage with my choir Our Voice Milwaukee at PrideFest this afternoon! Catch us at 2:15 on the Skyline Main Stage Theater as we sing our hearts out together. We’ve got a lineup full of bangers and classics from Like a Prayer by Madonna to Centuries, For the Gaze from Death Becomes Her and of course Seasons of Love. Come feel the love with us. 🥹

And we are not stopping there. Swing by our booth all day from 3 to 10PM! We are actively looking for new members AND non-singing members too, so whether you want to sing with us or just be part of this incredible community there is a place for you. To top it all off, we will be marching in the parade tomorrow! 🎉

Sweat, community and a whole lot of good energy tonight. 🌈💪

Spent the evening at PRIDE on the Plaza with my friend Jake getting after it at the Brew Fitness × [solidcore] × Lululemon hybrid workout and what a way to kick off the celebrations. 45 minutes of cardio, strength and yes a seriously solid core workout. 😅 The kind of class where everyone shows up as they are and just moves together. That is what it is all about.

This is exactly why you need to be ready before you start looking. 👀

Stopped by Veterans Park to see the Field of Flags this Memorial Day weekend and it is something else. Hard to put into words honestly. Roo seemed to take it all in too. 🐾

Took full advantage of the nice weather today and Milwaukee did not disappoint! ☀️🪁

Started out at the Kite Festival at Veterans Park, walked away with a free IKEA tote bag and zero regrets 😂 then made my way through the Third Ward, stopped into the Milwaukee Public Market and ended the day with dinner . Honestly could not have drawn up a better Sunday in this city.

This is why I love living and working here. When Milwaukee shows up, it really shows up. 🙌

The biggest lie in real estate? That you need 20% down to buy a home. 🛑

I heard it growing up, you probably did too. And it is just not the world we are living in anymore. You do not need to have $20,000, $30,000 or $50,000 sitting in your savings account before you can even think about buying.
Here is what actually exists right now 👇

Conventional loans as little as 2% down. FHA loans at 3.5% down. VA loans at 0% down. And on top of all of that, there are down payment assistance programs and grants specifically designed for people who have great income but just do not have a lump sum saved up yet.

And here is the perspective shift that I want you to sit with for a second. While you are over there trying to save that $20,000 or $30,000, that home you have your eye on is also going up $20,000 or $30,000 in value. Every year you wait outside the market is a year your future equity is growing without you. 📈
