The residential market may have peaked for the short term. But, if that is the case, it actually creates opportunity. Sellers who have been waiting to find something are finally starting to see some inventory. Meanwhile, the demand for certain properties (small town and rural residential for example) hasn't subsided. So the market is set up really well for consumers moving between certain price points or property types.
