I truly don’t know what’s going on yet, and I’m praying what I’m hearing isn’t true… because if it is, there honestly aren’t enough words to describe the kind of professor, coach, mentor, man, and human being Professor Eric is.

Some people teach techniques. Some people teach discipline. But every once in a while, you meet someone who teaches through the way they live, the way they carry themselves, and the way they make others believe they can become more than they were yesterday. That’s who Professor Eric has been to so many of us.

For some reason, several months ago, something deep in my spirit kept telling me: “Sit down and interview him.” I held onto that feeling waiting for the “right” time… and the Lord kept placing it on my heart that now was the moment. Looking back, I’m grateful I listened.

Please excuse my articulation during some of the questions 😅🤦‍♂️ — this was after a hard 20-minute session and I was absolutely smoked 😂 — but honestly, maybe that makes it even more real. No script. No perfection. Just genuine conversation, wisdom, and life lessons from someone who has impacted more people than he probably realizes.

Here are some words of wisdom from Professor Eric — and I hope they hit your heart the same way they hit mine. 🙏
