Hi!!! Remember me?! Here’s a little life update…

Still a plant lady who just can’t stop planting succulents 😆 but I’m doing it about 1200 miles away from where I started. I moved to Wilmington, NC in October 2023 and absolutely love life on the east coast!
Since moving to NC, I’ve found a new passion for real estate. I absolutely love everything about it, but still find myself dreaming about playing in the dirt.
So instead of fighting it, I’m embracing it!

How it started and how it ended 🥹

I’m making this post to announce that my time as the owner of Love Succs Succulents has come to an end. It has been an amazing and invaluable experience to run a business, but I have decided that it’s time to move on. In about 2 1/2 months, I will be leaving my hometown of Austin to embark on a new adventure on the North Carolina coast.

When I say “thank you for your support”, I truly mean it with everything I have in me. I made my first sale with under 90 days sober, not knowing a single thing about really anything. I didn’t plan on starting a business, at all, but the universe kept giving me opportunities and I just kept taking them.

These past 3 1/2 years have been rewarding and challenging. My creativity has grown and expanded in so many ways. But mostly, I’m thankful for all of the incredible people I’ve met along the way. Everyone from my “vendor mentors”, to the amazing customers I’ve gotten to chat with, I want to say THANK YOU.

Thank you for helping me get here. Thank you for helping me learn and grow. Thank you for supporting my creative journey and more importantly, my journey to living a fulfilling life.

After lots and lots of thought, I have decided to leave the market on SoCo.

I started doing the market in January of 2021, and have spent nearly every single Friday, Saturday and Sunday since, down there setting up. The growth I have experienced during that time cannot be put into words. But, that growth has led me to the tough decision to take a step back so I can reconnect myself, and take a breather. I’m so incredibly thankful for my time down there, and for the life long friendships I’ve made along the way🫶🏼

However! This is by no means “goodbye”! You can still shop in Austin, and in Bryan! You can absolutely DM me to place an order for Mason Jars, custom arrangements, or any plant related things you need! I will still be doing an occasional market here and there, but for now I won’t have a “usual spot”. But, stay tuned for updates….!!

My latest custom pieces 😍 These are for a repeat customer who’s upgrading the plants around their different rental properties. He gave me the containers, and pretty much told me to have at it. I think they turned out pretty nice!

Made use of a cancelled market day to clean, and of course work. I find so much joy in the simple things these days.
On this day, 3 years ago, I was on day 2 of a 13 day relapse that almost killed me. An injury that happened during that time almost made me quit the “plant mom thing” I had just barely gotten into. On March 29th, 2020 something told me to sit and plant. Be quiet. I’ve been sober since that day.
3 years ago, I was dying and my creativity had died years ago.

This is what I did today. We do recover.

Well y’all, I’m honored to announce that I got invited to sell at the Blue Genie Spring market! I’m so excited, and we’ll, truly honored! I will be stocking the booth with tons of bright and springy mini Mason Jars as well as a bunch of larger arrangements for Mother’s Day! Stay tuned for updates!
