68 Center Street has been standing since 1897 and it has seen a lot of seasons. This one could be yours. Three acres in the heart of town, steps from Lake Winnipesaukee, a wraparound porch built for exactly this kind of weather, and a turret that has genuinely never gone out of style.

Three bedrooms, two and a half baths, double parlors, a carriage house, a separate office, and a brand new roof as of this month. George Franklin Barber designed it.

$1,399,000. Showings open now.

68 Center Street made The New York Times this week.

Out of every Victorian, turret home, and piece of 19th-century architecture currently for sale in the country, the Times led with Wolfeboro. They wrote about the cylindrical turret and witch-hat roof, the double parlors, the wraparound porch, the millwork. They called it steps from Lake Winnipesaukee and the Cotton Valley Rail Trail. They got it right.

The main house also just received a brand new roof this month, so whoever buys this one is walking into 127 years of character with one less thing to think about.

Photography by Wolf Reel made this house look exactly like it feels.

Listed at $1,399,000. If you've been watching it, now is a good time to call.

Every once in a while a property comes along that does not ask you what you want to do with it. It tells you.

68 Center Street in Wolfeboro Falls has been telling people since 1897. 3.1 acres. Wolfeboro Falls Limited Business District zoning. Eight permitted uses. A carriage house already in business. A Victorian estate that has outlasted every trend in real estate and still looks like the answer.

Three hundred acres of conservation land. Two houses down.
That detail does not show up in the tax record. It does not show up on Zillow. It shows up on the first morning you lace up your boots and walk out the front door.

$499,000. Private showings available.
