🏡 **Big News for Homeowners, Buyers & REALTORS**
The new **21st Century ROAD to Housing Act** represents one of the most significant federal housing reform efforts in years. Its goals include:
• Increasing the nation's housing supply.
• Reducing barriers to building new homes.
• Expanding support for affordable, workforce, modular, and manufactured housing.
• Modernizing federal housing programs.
• Encouraging local zoning reforms to help communities build more housing where it's needed.
**What this could mean for North Carolina & South Carolina:**
✅ More housing inventory over time.
✅ Greater opportunities for affordable and workforce housing.
✅ Increased support for modular and manufactured housing, especially in rural and growing communities.
✅ More opportunities for builders, buyers, sellers, and REALTORS as housing supply improves.
✅ A stronger path toward homeownership for more families.
These changes won't happen overnight, but they signal an important step toward addressing housing affordability and inventory challenges across both Carolinas.
