You do not have to follow the inspector every step of the way, but being present near the end gives you a chance to ask questions, see certain items in person, and better understand the report.

A good inspection is not just a list of defects. It is information that helps the buyer understand the home.

The purpose is not to scare anyone or “fail” a house. It is to help the buyer understand what they are buying before they move forward.
