The four pictures attached show 4 corners of a property we recently surveyed.

Three of the property corners had at least 2 monuments set for each of those corners. One had 3 monuments set for that property corner.

While researching we found that the 1/4 section corner, where the deed commenced, had 3 different monuments set at 3 different locations over the decades for the 1/4 section corner.

We had to perform a lot of research and field investigation of the subject property and nearby properties to prove what property lines have been monumented in agreement with the one we were surveying.

Many clients never see this additional work, that is required in order to solve their property lines.

Happy Mother’s Day to the best wife, mother, and partner Danya Goss.

Surveying is looking for a needle in a hay stack.

Or in this case, Danya found a 60d nail on a 50’ diameter, island in the woods with a 30’ deep creek/ravine wrapping all around the island.

We were surveying an private 80 acre Tribal/Trust Land to be able to assist the land owner to separate a +/- 15 acre parcel to build his home.

(Trust Land is placing native american / Tribal private land in a state to allow the Bureau of Indian Affairs help to manage said land)

With the recent moon launch, we wanted to make that relatable to a road trip on Earth.

You would have to drive from New York to Los Angelos about 85 times just to get to the moon. That does not include going around the moon or getting back to earth.

At 70mph, driving non-stop, that would be about 3400 hours or 142 days.
