I'll always tell you the truth, even if it's not what you want to hear - whether that means a house is overpriced or your expectations need adjusting. I'd rather lose a deal than help someone make the wrong decision, because buying or selling a home is too important for "good enough" advice.

I've seen so many buyers fall in love with a house, only to realize later that the neighborhood isn't the right fit. As someone who's helped countless clients find their dream home, I always advise them to look beyond the listing photos and visit the neighborhood multiple times.
