Big News in Real Estate today and I'm all in!!
There has been a lot of conversation around eXp acquiring NextHome, so I want to share this clearly in my own words: this is about eXp expanding into franchising, not changing the NextHome brand, leadership, culture, or the way we serve our clients.
What makes NextHome special is still exactly what it has always been — our people, our relationships, our values, and our commitment to keeping real estate human. That heart remains unchanged
For me, NextHome has never just been about a name or a logo. It has always been about the experience we create for our agents, clients, and communities. It’s about doing business with integrity, staying focused on relationships, and putting people first. That mission is still at the center of everything we do.
This move makes sense in a changing industry. Real estate is evolving quickly, and aligning with a company that brings scale, stability, and vision positions NextHome for continued growth and strength moving forward.
I’m encouraged by the shared values here as well. Leadership that supports transparency, ethical business practices, and strong agent support matters, especially in a market that continues to shift.
What does this mean for us?
We now have the support of a larger organization with added resources behind us.
We’re in a stronger position to navigate market changes and the growing concerns around private listings, which can limit opportunity for consumers.
Our listings and our agents benefit from greater exposure, broader reach, and more opportunity for success.
At the end of the day, what matters most hasn’t changed. Humans Over Houses is still our guiding philosophy. Our identity is still our identity. Our culture is still our culture. And the people who make NextHome special are still what make it special.
