Look Past the Noise: The Truth Behind the Distractions in Virgin Islands Politics

Have you ever noticed what happens whenever real solutions are put on the table?

Instead of engaging in constructive dialogue, political opponents spend their days combing through social media feeds, live videos, and campaign posts—not to learn, not to collaborate, but desperately searching for the slightest misstep to blow out of proportion. Not to mention the Fake Profiles with malicious intent to create false narratives.

When they can’t find a genuine flaw, they manufacture one.

Meanwhile, they scroll right past substantive policy proposals:

* Comprehensive blueprints for badly needed social programs across our islands
* Tangible solutions designed to improve infrastructure, public services, and cost of living
* Concrete records of community service and proven legislative experience

This tactic is as old as dirty politics gets. When candidates lack an authentic vision of their own, manufactured outrage becomes their entire platform. They act like Manchurian candidates backed by special-interest agendas, completely disconnected from the daily challenges facing working families in St. Croix, St. Thomas, St. John, and Water Island.

They do not focus on real platforms, policy track records, or long-term community investments because their priority is advancing self-serving agendas at the expense of our territory's future.

Virgin Islanders deserve leaders focused on real issues rather than digital smear campaigns. Explore the platform, evaluate the track record, and make an informed decision at www.donastorgnelson.com

Dear Virgin Islanders near and far,

I hope you and your families are doing well.

We are officially 76 days out from Election Day, and the momentum across our islands is building every single day. People across St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix are calling for leadership that is honest, accountable, and completely dedicated to putting the people of the Virgin Islands first.

Because ours is a true grassroots movement, we don't answer to special interests—we answer to you. But running a competitive, winning race down the final stretch takes real resources. Getting our message across every neighborhood, organizing community outreach, and staying competitive requires the collective support of friends and community champions who share this vision.

Will you stand with us today by chipping in to fuel this final stretch?

* $25 helps print campaign materials and neighborhood flyers.
* $50 supports direct voter outreach and grassroots organizing efforts.
* $100 powers our digital reach, radio airtime, and island-wide events.
* Any amount you can give directly strengthens our voice down the home stretch.

You can make your secure contribution online right now at www.donastorgnelson.com.

We are ready to work, ready to lead, and ready to serve the people of our dear Virgin Islands.

Thank you for your continued friendship, your trust, and your belief in what we can achieve together.

With deep gratitude and respect,

Adlah "Foncie" Donastorg & Positive T. A. Nelson

OUR SALSA SONG: DONASTORG/NELSON

The waters separating the United States Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands have never been a border—they have always been a bridge.

For generations, the bond between our territories has run far deeper than political boundaries or flags. We share an intertwined history written not just in archives, but in the living bloodlines of thousands of families who call these islands home. Whether traced from Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van D**e, and Anegada to St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix, our roots are deeply planted in the same soil and sustained by the same Caribbean sea.

Our connection is woven through every part of daily life:

* Generational Family Ties: Surnames, genealogies, and kitchen tables on both sides of the channel reflect a shared heritage that no border check can diminish.

* Shared Cultural Traditions: From our distinct musical rhythms and storytelling to traditional cuisine and maritime customs, our cultural identity beats with one synchronized heart.

* Regional Collaboration: Long before modern dialogue, our leaders and community builders recognized that our economic and social futures are fundamentally linked.

I often reflect on the wisdom and foresight of the late Bingley G. Richardson, Sr., and dear friend, who once assigned me to analyze International Business Companies (IBCs) at an observatory. Engaging in that work was a clear reminder of how much we learn from one another when we look across the channel as partners and brothers, rather than distant neighbors. His leadership embodied the spirit of mutual respect and shared progress that has always defined our relationship.

And my sister, who often reminds me that she has her “belonger status,” with ties that run so deep, emphasizes that bridge.

As the world evolves, preserving this unique camaraderie is not merely an exercise in nostalgia—it is a vital responsibility. We owe it to our elders who built these bridges, and to our youth who will inherit them, to keep inter-island dialogue, cultural exchange, and family fellowship strong.

Water may lie between our shores, but our family orientations, shared traditions, and enduring friendship will always keep us whole. Let us continue to nurture this sacred bond for generations to come.

Our Voices, Not Their Money: The Virgin Islands is Awake!

The image of our movement is strong. It's a testament to the fact that we, the people of the Virgin Islands, are wide awake. For too long, we’ve watched a system in which money, not merit, often dictates the outcome of our elections.

But something is changing. Our movement is growing, fueled not by corporate donations or wealthy backers, but by the energy and commitment of everyday citizens who are tired of the status quo. We are a movement of the people, by the people, and for the people.

They see us. They see our growing momentum, and they are afraid.

Why are they afraid? Because they know that a truly awake citizenry is an unstoppable force. They know that when we come together, we can achieve incredible things. We can build a brighter future for our islands, a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

The alternative is more of the same: a government that answers to the highest bidder, a government that puts profit before people, a government that doesn't truly represent our community's needs and desires.

We cannot afford to let them steal this election. We cannot let them buy influence and power with their wealth.

Our movement is about more than just winning an election. It’s about taking back our power. It’s about demanding better for ourselves, for our children, and for generations to come. It’s about building a government that is truly of the people, by the people, and for the people.

We have the power to create a better future. We have the power to make our voices heard. And we have the power to build a movement that is truly too big to rig.

Join us! Make your voice heard. Make our movement strong. Together, we can build a brighter future for the Virgin Islands.

Music, Courage, and the Future: Why We Are "Not Afraid"

Music is the universal language of the Virgin Islands—it captures our heartbeat, our culture, and our strength. That same energy drives us as we step forward as candidates for Governor and Lieutenant Governor.

Our territory stands at a critical crossroads. From our power grid and infrastructure to our schools and economy, the Virgin Islands is facing real peril. We see the struggles of our working families, and we know the time for hesitation is over.

As expressed in our campaign's rap song, "Not Afraid":

"We are not afraid to stand up. We are not afraid to speak truth. We are not afraid to lead."

Our Unshakeable Promise

* Fearless Leadership: We will tackle our toughest problems directly—no excuses, no backing down.
* Territorial Representation: We are here to fight for every Virgin Islander across St. Thomas, St. Croix, St. John, and Water Island.
* Unlocking Our Potential: We will champion our home-grown talent, culture, and youth to build a stronger future.

The road ahead won't be easy, but don't you worry. We have the courage, the vision, and the determination to lead us forward.

We are ready. We are resolute. We are NOT AFRAID.
