Coffee is universal. But what we eat with it? That’s another story. 😋

Vietnam: Bánh mì + cà phê
A quick breakfast, a strong coffee, and you’re ready for the day.

A little look back at our last coffee afternoon at Amigo Café☕

We tasted, smelled, brewed, talked and learned a little more about Vietnamese coffee along the way.

From the story of Vietnamese coffee and our “Four Fires” journey 🔥 to learning how to order a coffee in Vietnamese, the idea is simple: discover Vietnam through coffee, language & conversation.

But our favorite part? Seeing everyone around the table sharing stories, asking questions and connecting with each other. 💬

Do you know what day today is?

If you happen to be in Ho Chi Minh City this week, you might notice something...interesting.

Streets seem a little bit emptier.
Some neighborhoods might even feel quieter. Some stores and offices are also closed.

No worries! That's absolutely normal because we are in our National holiday to celebrate the Independence Day of Vietnam on 02.09.

While our independence day only lasts for one day, some companies and organizations allows employees to take upto one week off.

This means some of us are taking the chance to travel to nearby tourist attractions such as Da Nang or Mui Ne.

Two myths we hear a lot:
❌ Vietnamese coffee is always super strong and bitter.
❌ Vietnam only grows Robusta.

The reality? Vietnam’s coffee scene is much more diverse than you might think, from bold Robusta to smooth, fruity Arabica to a whole world of Vietnamese coffee beyond "cà phê sữa đá"
