TODAY, 1 SEPTEMBER 2026, QUANG NINH OFFICIALLY BECOMES A CENTRALLY GOVERNED CITY.
VB Holdings extends its sincere congratulations to the Party Committee, the authorities and the people of Quang Ninh on this historic milestone.
On the afternoon of 24 August 2026, at the closing sitting of the First Extraordinary Session of the 16th National Assembly, all 478 deputies present voted in favor of the Resolution on the establishment of Quang Ninh City, formed on the basis of the entire natural area and population of Quang Ninh Province. The Resolution takes effect on 1 September 2026, making Quang Ninh the country's eighth centrally governed city.
For us, this is not simply an administrative event. The centrally governed city model opens up new planning space, institutional capacity and resources for the entire region — including the Quang Yen Coastal Economic Zone, where VB Nha Mac Joint Stock Company is developing VB Quang Yen Industrial Park, a 407.71-hectare project with total investment capital of VND 3,740 billion under Decision No. 335/QD-BQLKKT dated 28 June 2026.
We believe that Quang Ninh's new status will further strengthen the region's appeal to high-quality FDI.

ON 27 AUGUST 2026, VB QUANG YEN INDUSTRIAL PARK OFFICIALLY BROKE GROUND IN PHONG COC WARD, QUANG NINH PROVINCE.
407.71 hectares. VND 3,740 billion. And 86.43 hectares — 21.2% of the total area — allocated to port, port services and logistics.
That third figure is what sets the project apart: warehousing, transport and logistics operations sit within the park's own boundary rather than depending entirely on external infrastructure.
At full development, the project is projected to create 24,000 – 34,000 jobs.
The project is developed by VB Nha Mac Joint Stock Company, the licensed project investor under Decision No. 335/QD-BQLKKT dated 28 June 2026.

2026年8月27日上午，VB广安工业园区在广宁省风谷坊正式开工。407.71公顷，3.74万亿越南盾，以及86.43公顷——占项目总面积的21.2%——用于港口、港口服务及物流功能。

第三组数据——即用于港口、港口服务及物流功能的86.43公顷用地——正是体现项目差异化的重要一点：仓储、运输及物流功能均布局在工业园区范围内，而非完全依赖园区外部基础设施。

项目全面发展后，预计可为广安及周边地区24,000—34,000名劳动者提供就业机会。

项目由VB Nhà Mạc股份公司担任投资方。根据广宁省经济区管理委员会2026年6月28日颁布的第335/QĐ-BQLKKT号决定，该公司获批为项目投资方。

QUANG NINH PROPOSES 55KM EXPRESSWAY CONNECTING RING ROAD 5 – HANOI CAPITAL REGION

A new connectivity corridor is being proposed for coastal Quang Ninh province.

On August 5, 2026, the Quang Ninh Provincial Delegation to the National Assembly proposed adding a 55-kilometer expressway to the regional master plan, connecting the Hai Phong–Ha Long expressway to Ring Road 5 – Hanoi Capital Region (with its endpoint in Hai Phong).

Key development: KCN VB Quang Yen (407.71 hectares, developed by VB Nha Mac Joint Stock Company) currently shares a direct boundary with the Hai Phong–Ha Long expressway — the same corridor selected as the starting point for this proposed connectivity initiative.

If the 55-kilometer route receives approval and moves forward, the Quang Yen area will gain an additional access corridor linking to the Hanoi Capital Region transportation network.

At the same time, Quang Ninh is preparing to become a centrally-controlled city (effective from September 1, 2026) — opening a new development phase for the entire region.

广宁沿海地区正迎来一项新的区域交通连接规划提议。
2026年8月5日，广宁省国会代表团提议补充规划一条全长约55公里的高速公路，连接海防—下龙高速公路与河内首都区域五环路（终点位于海防）。
📍 值得关注的是：广安VB工业区（占地407.71公顷，由VB Nhà Mạc股份公司投资建设）的园区边界目前与海防—下龙高速公路直接相邻，而该高速公路正是此次拟议连接线路的起点。
如果这条55公里高速公路获批并实施，广安地区将新增一条通往河内首都区域交通网络的交通通道。
与此同时，广宁省也正在为成为中央直辖市做准备（预计自2026年9月1日起生效），这将为整个区域开启新的发展阶段。
