When Understanding Becomes a Shared Language

The LAVA Vietnam Office is the result of a long-standing collaboration and accumulated understanding between Module K and LAVA — where dialogue has evolved beyond ideas into a shared architectural mindset, translated into interior space.

The office is conceived as a “living system” — where spatial modules are organically connected, reflecting how a creative team operates: flexible, connected, and constantly evolving. Within this framework, light, material, and structure move beyond finishing elements to become instruments that materialize ideas throughout the architectural practice, while maintaining the integrity of LAVA’s design DNA.

Ogilvy and its signature red color are inseparable. However, instead of overwhelming the space, Module K has fine-tuned the red to be powerful yet balanced, ensuring anyone who walks in immediately recognizes the "Ogilvy essence”.
The blend of Ogilvy’s red with neutral tones, wood, metal, and glass materials creates a harmonious balance between creative energy and professionalism, igniting the creative drive of the Ogilvians.

The design is tailored for how Ogilvy works. The open space is never chaotic. The long meeting tables, open brainstorming areas, and flexible lounge corners – all are designed to fit Ogilvy’s teamwork culture and creative thinking, while also providing a space for relaxation and energy rejuvenation.

Văn phòng Ogilvy Vietnam tại Centec Tower không đơn thuần là một nơi để làm việc, mà là một tuyên ngôn thương hiệu – nơi mọi chi tiết đều phản ánh tinh thần "We Sell or Else" của Ogilvy.
𝐒𝐀̆́𝐂 Đ𝐎̉ - 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐡 𝐡𝐨̂̀𝐧 𝐜𝐮̉𝐚 𝐤𝐡𝐨̂𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐢𝐚𝐧
Ogilvy và màu đỏ thương hiệu – một biểu tượng không thể tách rời. Tuy nhiên, Thay vì bao phủ một cách áp đảo, ModuleK đã tinh chỉnh sắc đỏ vừa đủ mạnh mẽ để bất kỳ ai bước vào đều nhận ra “chất Ogilvy” ngay khi bước vào không gian.
Phối hợp sắc đỏ Ogilvy với những gam màu trung tính, vật liệu gỗ, kim loại và kính đã tạo nên sự hài hòa giữa năng lượng sáng tạo và sự chuyên nghiệp. Khơi dậy năng lượng sáng tạo của các Ogilvians.

BTMH enters a new chapter — where the space is no longer merely a place to display products, but a continuation of the enduring prosperity of a long-established Hanoi brand in gold accumulation and wealth preservation.

Module K aims to translate that aspiration for prosperity into a more approachable expression: refined yet not distant, professional yet comfortable — ensuring every client feels respected, reassured, and genuinely valued.

Each branch will flexibly adapt its “look & feel” in response to its specific context, while remaining firmly anchored in the core retail DNA of the chain — consistent in spirit, coherent in identity.

BTMH bước vào một giai đoạn mới — nơi không gian không chỉ là nơi trưng bày sản phẩm, mà là sự tiếp nối tinh thần thịnh vượng của một thương hiệu Hà Nội lâu đời - thương hiệu kinh doanh vàng tích trữ.

Module K mong muốn chuyển tải khát vọng phồn vinh ấy theo một cách gần gũi hơn: sang trọng nhưng không xa cách, chuyên nghiệp nhưng thoải mái, để mỗi khách hàng đều cảm thấy được trân trọng.

Mỗi chi nhánh sẽ được linh hoạt thay đổi “look & feel” nhưng vẫn bám sát DNA nhận diện cửa hàng chuỗi - nhất quán trong tinh thần.

RESTAFF OFFICES| Design by Module K
The assignment was to create a multicultural, vibrant workspace infused with the distinctive style and lifestyle of Scandinavia.
Inspired by the colorful houses of Norway reflected on deep blue lakes, MK incorporated these warm tones and characteristic lines to highlight Restaff’s brand identity.
To ensure both cohesion and differentiation between departments spread across two floors, designed two distinctive yet interconnected zones. One zone features a palette of cool tones accented with warm highlights, while the other applies warm tones with cool accents. These two schemes strongly complement each other, creating an overall sense of unity.
Various printing effects were applied on glass partitions to draw visual interest while also allowing them to slide open. Indirect lighting, with concealed LED strips, creates bold lines that make a strong design statement.

Đề bài được giao ra là tạo ra một không gian làm việc đa văn hóa, nhiều màu sắc, mang đậm phong cách và lối sống đặc trưng của Scandinavia.
Lấy cảm hứng từ những ngôi nhà đầy màu sắc của Na Uy, phản chiếu trên mặt hồ xanh thẳm, sử dụng những gam màu ấm và đường nét đặc trưng này để tôn lên màu sắc thương hiệu của Restaff.
Để vừa tạo sự thống nhất vừa phân biệt các phòng ban khác nhau được bố trí trên hai tầng, MK thiết kế hai khu vực đặc trưng nhưng có liên quan với nhau. Một khu vực là tập hợp các màu lạnh với điểm nhấn nóng, khu vực còn lại là các màu nóng với điểm nhấn lạnh. Hai thiết kế này hỗ trợ lẫn nhau một cách mạnh mẽ, tạo nên cảm giác thống nhất tổng thể.
Nhiều hiệu ứng in ấn khác nhau trên các vách ngăn kính để tạo sự thu hút thị giác và tạo ra những vách ngăn có thể đẩy mở. Hệ thống chiếu sáng gián tiếp, với các dải đèn LED ẩn, tạo ra những đường nét mạnh mẽ, mang đến một tuyên bố thiết kế táo bạo.

The breath of the times – a "Saigon vibe". One might wonder, how does one capture the vibrant pulse, the kaleidoscope of colors, and the very soul of Saigon within an architectural space? Beta Cinemas Quang Trung proudly emerges as the answer, delivering a novel cinematic destination in Ho Chi Minh City, imbued with an urban artistic style that distinctly resonates with the dynamic and bustling essence of "Saigon."
𝐈𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: 𝐀 𝐋𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐋𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞
Every detail within this establishment is a skillful amalgamation of Saigon's architectural hallmarks, viewed through a prism of rich and vibrant hues. From the City Opera House (central seating area), Ben Thanh Market (main area), and Saigon Central Post Office (ticket counter), to Tan Dinh Church (pink waiting chairs), the flock of doves at Cong xa Paris Square (central hall), and the narrow alleys reflecting street life (secondary halls and auxiliary areas) – each is thoughtfully integrated.
The design masterfully captures Saigon’s defining lines, transforming these images into distinct, interconnected blocks and geometric forms, accentuated by the interplay of shapes. The seamless flow of the space is further enhanced by extending color bands, enveloping and complementing each other, rendering the space seemingly boundless and inviting an immersive visual journey.
𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭: 𝐀𝐧 𝐔𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐎𝐝𝐲𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐲
Upon entry, visitors are immediately struck by the interwoven geometric blocks creating a simple yet striking overall impression. The reception desk, with its Indochine green vaulted ceiling, evokes the grandeur of the Saigon Central Post Office. The circular staircase in signature blue, adorned with a flock of doves reminiscent of Notre Dame Cathedral, is poised to become the "city hall" for the youth. The floor is laid with Eastern-inspired patterned tiles, while the hallway leading to the main hall captivates with a gradient arched form akin to a radiant rainbow. The mezzanine and ground floors are elegantly connected by corridors winding around the building, featuring semicircular loggias perfect for photo opportunities and panoramic views. To the right, asymmetrical flamingo-pink vaulted columns pay homage to the beloved Tan Dinh Church.
The astute application of contrasting colors and geometric forms not only highlights the architecture but also creates a profound depth within the space. It is this masterful fusion of classical charm, modern vibrancy, and artistic depth that singularly defines Beta Cinemas Quang Trung's unique and distinctive style, elevating the cinematic experience beyond the screen itself.

Với mong muốn mang đến cho khán giả TP. Hồ Chí Minh một điểm đến xem phim mới lạ, mang phong cách nghệ thuật đô thị toát lên âm hưởng của một “Sài Gòn” năng động, nhộn nhịp, Beta Cinemas Quang Trung tự hào ra đời.
𝐘𝐞̂́𝐮 𝐭𝐨̂́ đ𝐢̣𝐚 𝐩𝐡𝐮̛𝐨̛𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐢́𝐧𝐡 𝐛𝐢𝐞̂̉𝐮 𝐭𝐮̛𝐨̛̣𝐧𝐠
Từng chi tiết trong công trình được lồng ghép khéo léo giữa các đặc trưng kiến trúc của Sài Gòn như: Nhà hát Thành phố, Chợ Bến Thành, Bưu điện Thành phố, Nhà thờ Tân Định, Đàn chim bồ câu - Quảng trường Công xã Paris, Hẻm nhỏ - Cuộc sống hè phố thông qua lăng kính đầy sắc màu và rực rỡ.
Nắm bắt những đường nét đặc trưng của Sài Gòn và chuyển hóa những hình ảnh đó bằng các khối và hình hộp độc lập, được kết nối và nhấn nhá nhờ sự vay trả của hình khối. Tính liền mạch của không gian còn được tạo ra nhờ các dải màu trải dài, bao bọc và bổ trợ lẫn nhau. Với các mảng màu trải dài, không gian giờ đây dường như vô hạn.
𝐌𝐮̣𝐜 đ𝐢́𝐜𝐡 𝐤𝐡𝐨̂𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐮̣ 𝐭𝐡𝐞̂̉
Khi bước vào, khách tham quan sẽ ấn tượng với các khối hình học đan xen tạo tổng thể đơn giản mà nổi bật.
- Quầy lễ tân với mái vòm xanh Đông Dương gợi trần Bưu điện Thành phố.
- Cầu thang tròn xanh lam thương hiệu cùng đàn chim bồ câu phía trên gợi Nhà thờ Đức Bà, được kỳ vọng thành "tòa thị chính" của giới trẻ.
- Sàn nhà lát gạch bông Á Đông, hành lang dẫn vào sảnh với hình vòm chuyển màu như cầu vồng.
- Tầng lửng và tầng trệt kết nối qua hành lang quanh tòa nhà, với loggia bán nguyệt lý tưởng cho check-in.
- Phía phải là cột vòm bất đối xứng hồng flamingo, gợi Nhà thờ Tân Định nổi tiếng.
Việc ứng dụng nghệ thuật tương phản màu sắc và hình học làm nổi bật kiến trúc, tạo chiều sâu không gian. Sự kết hợp khéo léo giữa nét cổ điển, hơi thở hiện đại và chiều sâu nghệ thuật, định vị một phong cách độc đáo, riêng biệt chỉ có tại Beta Cinema.
Dự án đã hoàn thành vào năm 2021, nhưng MK vẫn muốn gợi lại thời điểm này để hòa mình vào chủ đề "𝗪𝗘 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗦 𝗨𝗡𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗗 | Khi sắc độ được giải phóng" và gửi lời cảm ơn sâu sắc tới đến những ngòi bút đã cùng đồng hành, giúp câu chuyện này được kể một cách trọn vẹn.

The facade design is inspired by modernist architecture, telling the story of a bygone era in Southern Vietnam's search for its own unique identity and aesthetic. This particular design was chosen as a hypothetical proposal for a mixed-use complex at a bustling intersection.
The design language evokes the familiar spirit of Saigon, preserving core heritage values amid the city's ever-evolving urban journey.

Một thiết kế mặt dựng lấy cảm hứng từ kiến trúc modernist về câu chuyện của một thời kỳ tìm kiếm phương án về bản sắc và mỹ cảm riêng của miền Nam.
Một trong những phương án thiết kế giả định cho trung tâm phức hợp nằm tại ngã tư nhộp nhịp được lựa chọn.
Ngôn ngữ thiết kế phản ánh tinh thần gần gũi của Sài Gòn, giữ lại những giá trị cốt lõi trong hành trình đô thị không ngừng chuyển mình.

“Local materials” the essence of Saigon are an endless, undeniable source of inspiration. For Module K, that inspiration is constant. Whenever the opportunity arises, we embrace it to speak of this city and portray it in a way that’s unmistakably MK. Our creative spirit is vividly expressed through suspended modules hanging from electric poles where colors and light subtly recreate the pulse of the urban night.
