When life jolts us, when navigating the hurt in this world threatens waves of overwhelm-
When our faith quivers and our emotions fray, what I have found over & over again is, that comfort can be found in the anchor that is the sense of home, we take time to create.
Within the walls that are familiar with our human tendencies & frailties, the silent witnesses to our bent knees -
Offering us a desperately needed, soft place to land…a sanctuary for rest, and a sacred place to hold us close,
while we seek the heart of the One who hems us in. Who knows us best, who welcomes us just as we are, with all of our unknowns, doubts, despair and shredded pieces…and reassures us once more -
That we are held, right now, right where we are, in His heart, that is The Light. 🤍
