Part of Awenda Provincial Park, Giants Tomb Island has no permanent residents. It measures approximately five kilometres from north to south and two kilometres from east to west. Legend has it that Giants Tomb Island is the resting place of the great warrior, Kitchikewana.

🎉Tugfest Georgian Bay is happening in August!🎉

TugFest & HarbourFair is scheduled for August 19 10am-5pm and August 20 10am-5pm at the Town Dock and Harbourside Park in the beautiful town of Midland!

TugFest offers visitors over 20 historic and interesting tugs and work vessels with exciting demos and activities. There will also be buskers, live music and entertainment. Enjoy the Parade of Lights August 19 at 9pm!

TugFest is interactive! Spectators will have the opportunity to vote on the best Tug in show in the Viewers Choice category! After the judges have viewed all of the tugboats and decided a winner, there will be an awards ceremony on stage.

Also check out the Mid-way rides and attractions right beside TugFest, with Rib Fest as well happening August 18-20!
