It was a crazy busy day but the porch and outside areas are done! Our favorite part of the day by far was a little visit from our loon friend. He loves to preen himself and take a snooze between the camp dock and our personal dock next door. What an amazing way to start the day, coffee on the dock with the loons!
The last bedroom, a queen on the first floor is finally complete!
The boys worked hard today getting the outside cleaned up. Tomorrow, I decorate and organize while they get the dock put in. Check back Monday for some before and after shots of the projects!
One down, one to go... the Master Bedroom is done!
This room features direct access to the upstairs bath, a large walk-in closet, vanity/desk, full length mirror, TV and a spacious California King bed. What a beautiful room to relax in after a full day of adventures on the lake!
Today was a little bit of everything happening all at once. I think I was in every single room working on some little thing or other. The best news of the day is that the first floor bathroom and laundry area is done! Two more rooms to go!
It's Living and Dining Room Day! These rooms are essentially one LARGE room so why not do them both in one day?
With 4 bar stools at the counter and up to 8 chairs at the dining room table, there is plenty of room to sit together inside as a family for dinner or for game night. We have provided a variety of board and card games as well as a crafts to keep everyone busy, even on the rainy days.
In the living room there is a ton of comfy seating, a gas fireplace, a TV and a DVD player. When nights get cool, turn on the fireplace, grab a throw blanket and curl up with a movie or a one of the many books around camp. Nothing beats a cozy evening at camp!
I hope to get back to the master bedroom tomorrow. Only 3 more rooms to go before we can get to work furnishing the porch!

Today was kitchen day! There are still a few more things I want to do to make this room perfect, but I couldn’t wait another day to show you how great it looks already!
This kitchen is perfect for the vacationer that loves to cook. In addition to the gas range and the large fridge (with ice maker), there is a microwave, a crock pot, a blender, a food processor, a griddle/waffle iron, and so much more! There are plenty of pots, pans, baking dishes and utensils to make and serve just about anything your heart desires.
For those of you who prefer to cook outside while on vacation, we have a gas grill and a charcoal grill. Photos of that set-up coming soon!
It was another busy, but highly productive day at the cabin today. We had a change of plans to start the day so the Master didn't quite get done however, the upstairs bathroom is complete! We put in new lights, new tub/shower fixtures, new vanity and mirror and more. She's not big but she sure is cute!
This bathroom is on the second floor and includes a full tub and shower combo. There are two doors, one leading to the master and the other leading to the hallway, between the Teen Room and the Kids' Room. Linens are included with your rental.
I couldn't help but grab a few photos of the outside work in progress today. The whole cabin is getting a nice glow-up. It's amazing what a fresh coat of stain can do! .
The path to the lake has been cleared, widened and edged with logs. All the greenery has popped up this week. Green leaves and a blue lake, who could ask for anything more peaceful than that? We can't wait to share the magic with all of you!
It was a long day today but the "Teen Room" is finished! This room is on the second floor and contains a queen sized bed and a lake view! So cozy and cute!

The first bedroom is complete and I have to say, I am OBSESSED! This room turned out so cute and cozy. I want a canopy bed at my own house now!
This room is on the second floor. It contains one set of bunk beds and one twin canopy bed. Kids won't get bored with the giant felt board, books and wide variety of toys in the room. We placed all the toys up high so parents can decide what is age appropriate. There are outdoor toys too, but that is a post for another day!
Teaser: The "Teen Room" is coming up tomorrow. I am kind of obsessed with that one too! 😁
