2- Maria started baking cookies when she was in grade seven, her cookies were locally famous. All of her friends beg her to make famous chocolate chip cookie almost every week.
One day a local reporter wrote a story about her famous cookies. The story was later picked up by national television news. Upon seeing the story, coco company called maria to see if she would sell them her famous recipe.
Maria sold them oatmeal raisin recipe for twenty thousand dollars and her pudding cookie recipe for fifty thousand dollars, but she refused to sell them her chocolate chip recipe. She decided to keep this recipe and start her own company. On august 2002, she started Maria Boom Cookie.
3- مما لاشك فيه أن الدور الذي تلعبه المرأة في المجتمع اليوم يفوق كثيرا كل ما قامت من سنوات سابقة. فلم يكن للمرأة دور سوي كونها ربة منزل من خمسين الى سبعين سنة سابقة. لم يكن لها صوت, أو حرية. فالعادات الاجتماعية كانت هي المسيطرة على المرأة ولكن بعد ذلك تم النظر في الدور الكبير الذي يجب أن تحظى به. قامت المرأة بحركات تثبت حقوقها مثل الرجل, فكان لها انجازات كثيرة في حياتها من شغل مناصب في الحكومات الى المهام البسيطة مثل الحصول على الوظائف و دعم أنفسهم. و أخيرا، من دون امرأة ، لن يشعر الرجل بالراحة الا في وجود شخص بجانبه.
3- No doubt, the role the women play in today's society far exceeds that she had played years before. Fifty to seventy years ago, a woman was no more than house wife. She had no voice, and no freedom. Women were dominated by sociable traditions. soon after, it is thought that women should have a bigger role. The women held movements to prove that they should have rights like men. they had made vast improvements in their lifestyles from holding positions in governments to simple things like getting jobs and supporting themselves. In the end, without woman, man would not feel the comfort of having someone by his side.
