January 28, 2025 Bayou Phoenix held a Press Event to commemorate the demolition of the former Six Flags New Orleans site. This year marks the 20th Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and the vacated theme park. The demolition is moving along quickly to make way for the exciting new Bayou Phoenix development. 📣 Exciting news for New Orleans East and the entire region! Bayou Phoenix and the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA) are set to execute the ground lease for the former Six Flags site.

Join us for the Bayou Phoenix Kick-Off Presentation and Reception on October 25th at 2:30 p.m., coinciding with the World Waterpark Association's 43rd Annual Symposium & Trade Show at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Hall B - 900 Convention Center Blvd., New Orleans.

The public is invited. Check-In starts at 1:45 outside of Hall B to receive your badge for entry.
