I had one of those moments where I looked around and realized I’ve been blessed with an incredible group of women in my life. Some have been friends for years, some are newer friendships, but I thought, “Why not try get everyone together?” Sicamous version. 🌸

So we kicked off summer with a Mediterranean feast. 🫒🍷 Everyone brought a bottle of wine, we ate, we laughed, we shared stories, and it was exactly what my soul needed.

Then I spotted an opportunity. 😏

After dinner, I announced that a little movement was good for everyone and invited the ladies to the backyard. With half a truckload of soil recently spread to level the yard, it was time for what I call the “Tire Track Stomp” to get everything ready for grass seed. 👣🌱

Was it ingenious? Maybe.
Was it sneaky? Possibly.
Did everyone have fun? Absolutely! 😂

🦞 Lobster Fest! I didn’t even know this was a thing. One day at the office someone asked, “Are you going to Lobster Fest?” A Rotary fundraiser that brings together food, friends, fun, live & silent auctions, plus a great band. What’s not to love?

The food was amazing, the company was fantastic, & so far I don’t think I won anything at the auction. 😆

I have to say, it was a great event. We desperately tried to stay up past our bedtime, but by 10 o’clock we were headed home.
