Mold is often times hidden in places you cannot see. The common misconception is you can spray this and clean it and all will be ok. That is far from the truth. Once mold like this leaches into Sheetrock it must be disposed of and you must cut out the Sheetrock two feet past to ensure it is all gone.

June 2023 Air Quality Alert - NY - What you see here is 2 sets of PCM air samples that were taken outdoors (on the right). These samples were taken for 45 minutes at 15LPM. On the left, is a field blank, a field blank is a blank cassette that did not have air flow get pulled through it. The first sample was taken in Nassau County. The second sample was taken in Suffolk County. What you see here is similar to what you see in a PCM cassette when you air sample in an area under construction. Samples will be sent to the lab to determine the levels. Samples will be taken again tomorrow.

Please don’t get out your mop and bucket (and a fan) when there’s a sewage back up. Call a professional before something minor turns into something major. Check out the sewer flies! This was a bad one.

The sellers of this listed $575,000 home in Nassau County, NY tried to hide it by putting things in front of the visible mold. The listing agent said “I didn’t see it. I have bad sinuses.” I found it (including the asbestos floor tile) and determined the source. The buyer now has peace of mind. Don’t worry, there was no killing of any deals but the buyer now knows how much money it is going to cost to rectify the mold and asbestos issues.

Must have:
-Asbestos project monitoring license (not expired) for the business and personal
-Your own LLC or corporation
-Valid business insurance
-A vehicle and drivers license (willing to travel)

Even if you have the license and have no experience I am willing to train. I can supply all necessary equipment but if you have your own that’s a bonus. This would be per-diem as needed.
