Some clients leave a lasting impression, and today was one of those days.

From the moment I woke up this morning and received the text message saying, “Today’s the day,” I couldn’t help but smile.

As REALTORS®, we help people buy and sell homes every day, but every once in a while, a transaction comes along that reminds you why you do what you do. This was one of those moments.

Today marks the start of voting for the Director at Large positions with the Central Lakes Association of REALTORS®, and I would be truly honoured to earn one of your votes.

Over the past three years, I have proudly served on the Community Involvement Committee, where I have had the opportunity to listen, learn, build relationships, and gain a deeper appreciation for the important role our board plays in supporting both our members and the communities we serve.

As voting approaches, I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has taken the time to connect with me, ask questions, share feedback, and offer encouragement throughout this process.

Many of you already know that I have put my name forward for one of the three Director at Large positions available with the Central Lakes Association of REALTORS®. I am passionate about advocacy, transparency, communication, and finding positive solutions for our members, and I would be truly honoured to earn one of your three votes.

This year, I had the privilege of participating in the Dragon Boat Festival in Peterborough as part of the RE/MAX Hallmark Power Paddlers team. It was our brokerage’s first time taking part, and what an amazing day it was!

More importantly, this event was about coming together to support an incredible cause—raising funds for the Cancer Care Clinic at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Seeing so many teams, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters unite to make a difference was truly inspiring.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, my sponsors !!! volunteered, cheered us on, and helped make the day such a success. We may have been first-time paddlers, but we were surrounded by an amazing community of people paddling with purpose. We did amazing !!

I’m already looking forward to next year! 💙
