I don’t mess about when it comes to H+S!

Being self employed means that if I overstretch to reach above a piece of furniture and damage a tendon or muscle ,then I will be off unpaid for 6-8 weeks at least.

The risk isn’t worth the reward for a job that may only cost £200-£300.

So ,when hiring tradesman to work in your home please have there health and safety in mind 👍🏻

Top tip 👉🏻 - Don’t be stingy with the screws when doing a garage conversion ,you’ll regret it down the line!!

This ruler was my granddads who was a lift engineer (he said it had its up and downs) 😂

I’ve had it in my toolbox for years now, since he passed and every time I use it I think of him.

Having to take 5mm off a door today and to be honest, I can’t be bothered as it’s freezing outside 😂🥶 but this has cheered me up and once again he’ll help me get the job done.
