Reflecting on My First Year with RE/MAX nova
As I close out 2025, I'm incredibly grateful for my journey as a realtor this past year. Working part-time, I successfully closed more deals than I initially anticipated, and had the honor of listing multiple residential and commercial properties. Each transaction taught me something new and reinforced my passion for helping clients find their perfect space.
The Challenges
Breaking into real estate for the very first time while balancing part-time hours wasn't easy. Learning to navigate market fluctuations, building trust as a new agent, and managing the unpredictability of deals falling through tested my resilience. But each challenge made me sharper, more resourceful, and more committed to this career.
New Connections
This year brought incredible people into my life—fellow realtors who've become mentors and friends, mortgage brokers, inspectors, and other professionals who've taught me the value of collaboration in this industry. These relationships have been just as valuable as any commission.
Memorable Clients
From first-time homebuyers whose excitement was contagious, to investors with unique visions, to a business owner finding their ideal commercial space—every client brought their own story. Being part of these life-changing moments reminds me daily why I chose this path.
The Ups and Downs
The highs were exhilarating: handing over keys, celebrating closings, and seeing clients' dreams come true. The lows—deals that didn't materialize, difficult negotiations, and the inevitable self-doubt—kept me humble and hungry to improve.
Looking Forward to 2026
Here's what excites me most: I achieved all of this working part-time while being in my first year as a realtor. Imagine the potential when I go full-time. In 2026, I'm ready to dedicate more of my time to serving my clients, growing my business, and making even more dreams come true.
