Farmington is no longer a drive-only market for travelers connecting through Denver.

Four Corners Regional Airport currently lists daily nonstop United Express service to Denver International Airport, operated by SkyWest. The service launched on May 8, 2025.

Buying in San Juan County?
Don’t rule yourself out before checking the homebuyer programs available.

Housing New Mexico’s current mortgage-program page lists FirstHome and FirstDown, FirstDown Plus, HomeNow, HomeForward and HomeForward DPA, and NewHome Rate Advantage for qualifying buyers.

For FirstHome and FirstDown, the current Farmington MSA income limits effective July 27, 2026 are $96,360 for a 1–2 person household and $112,420 for households of 3 or more. The current FirstHome/FirstDown and FirstDown Plus purchase-price limit for San Juan County is $566,354.

FirstDown is a fixed-rate second mortgage that provides down-payment and closing-cost assistance and must be paired with FirstHome. HomeNow is a 0% second mortgage for qualifying lower-income first-time buyers and may be forgiven after 10 years if program conditions are met. HomeForward serves buyers who have owned a home within the past three years or who do not qualify for FirstHome, and NewHome Rate Advantage currently provides eligible HomeForward borrowers buying qualifying newly constructed homes a permanent 1.00% interest-rate buydown, subject to limited funding and program rules.
