Just a quick note to say there won’t be a video out this evening. We’ve taken the week off to catch up on things at the house and a whole bunch of admin work.

It’s just me this week! 😌
Craig has gone home to spend some time with his family and I’m holding down the fort (barely, it is me)

So let’s have a little catch up!
Some exciting things have been going on behind the scenes..

🔵 BBCs Escape To The Country came over for a visit! Yes, your girl is going to be on TV and I manage to do the whole day with a full film crew ON MY OWN - who is she!? 😏
Bricking it I was.. I didn’t have my partner in crime and human safety blanket Craig with me if I forgot my words (which I did, plenty of times)

🔵 THEN as IF I wasn’t one of the strongest independent women on the planet I found a bloomin wasps nest (in fact FOUR OF THEM) in the bus! (Bloopers are funny on tomorrow nights video 🤣)

🔵 Last week I jumped on a plane to Brighton to spend the weekend with my family 🥰♥️🎈

🔵 Sheila and Deborah popped in for a can

🔵 Aaaand we spend some well needed quality time with our YouTube pals over in Ireland 🇮🇪🥰

Hope you’ve got some mad plans for the weekend and your heart and head are healthy.

New video now live!! 🎥 🍿

This bathroom is going to be a real show stopper!! 🤩🤩

After a FULL on week of DIY - this old salvaged outdoor bathroom is looking bloomin’ fantastic!
With a little help from some friends over at we finally got the sensational doors hung.

The faded seafoam paint, all cracked and peeling, gives it this soft weathered vintage look - very snazzy if we do say so ourselves!!

we also got a new 60 quid Facebook marketplace find sofa! What do you think? If you like it.. tell me. If you don’t, then don’t. 🤣

And Craig is absolutely buzzing with his new sanded and varnished flooring - which are old boards from a rollercoaster! Definitely one of a kind! 😋♥️

This day last year I was leaving on my birthday in my van to travel solo around Europe!
I was terrified but I knew I had to do it to gain some independent confidence 🥰🌷

This year (thank the lord) my nervous system is way calmer 🤣 and I’m spending my birthday weekend exploring Brighton with my fam! 🎈♥️🎈

It’s lovely to look back on such a profound trip last year and see how far I’ve come and grown in myself 🪴 even if I did sleep with a frying pan 🙃
I would never have seen/experienced half of the things I did without taking the leap!

Moral of the birthday story.. you are way more capable than you think 😘 go get it 🌸

We took this week to travel to Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪

It was SO nice to spend some time away from the building site and explore a new city 📸 (and feel CLEAN! 😂)
Craig enjoyed taking just one camera and snapping some candid photos of us and our pals 💗

We miss travel loads and didn’t realise how much until we were let loose in the land of Guinness!
We are itching to get back out there.. and while we’re waiting for the building warrant, maaayybbee we might scratch it 👀

We’ll see how the Scotland cookie crumbles… 🤪

Another week done on the scottage another video posted (it’s live! Head to our stories for the link!)

This week we headed back inside to do our favourite pastime - POINTING.
Ok so it can be very laborious but we throw a podcast on and it’s actually very therapeutic!
But not only did we point this week.. we started on our line plaster which is going to transform this cottage from the inside out! 😍😍

We’ve also got a new lawmower newly names Britney Shears, who did a CRACKING job on the back garden!

Craig also got to play with his new chainsaw this week and we cleared a HEAFTY load of bushes and trees away from where our extension will sit.

Not to mention a new shop has opened up called the fat bird food court.. you want to see the customers we got! 🐦😆

Welcome to the new and improved garden studio! 🌺🪴🌺

It’s taken an AGE to get this beige cabin to the supermodel she is today.
Years in the making and I am completely obsessed with it!!

A small dream turned into a reality 💗🌸
This cabin is more than just an exaggerated wardrobe for me..
It’s a place to go away from the mess and chaos of a full house renovation to create something that means so much to me.
A new venture creating wigs for people experiencing hairloss (& for the fashion queenz! 😉)

I am so so proud and happy to say the wig I’m wearing in this photo is my first sample. Designed fully by me 🥰
I was more exited when it arrived than I have been for any Christmas!! 😂

Hope you’re all having a wicked Saturday!

And part two of the ‘little animal in our wall’ drama! 🥹💗

It’s been a busy week ya know, babysitting and DIY house renovating!

BUT We’re making MOVES in the bathroom department! 🛁   1. This week we had the mole boring lads up - they dug up and found our house water source, tee’d it off and put in a new pipe to the outdoor bathroom! Hot bubbles baths coming VERY soon!! 😬😬

2. Craig accidentally kicked a paint can over the fridge and told me he’d cleaned it up - whats your thoughts?
Because I think he should open his own cleaning business it’s so spotless..

3. It took me the longest, but I finally picked the tile colour to go with our beautiful salvaged tiles to tile our ‘cup of tea’ ledge in the bathroom - very happy with the colour! 💙🐟

4. Craig built a BEAUTIFUL set of stairs leading into the bathroom - He’s proud as punch, I’m proud as punch, we’re all.. proud as punch. 🤛

5. Also that last but one slide, I, Aimee, built that planter! And soon enough it will be home to the most incredible bunch of pink flowers! 💐🌸🌺🌷
